Description of the roles:

  1. Escalate - the recipient escalates to the Informed role if the content of the report becomes a concern.
  2. Informed - the recipient gathers information by the content of the report. No reaction is expected.
  3. Responsible - the recipient is expected to read the content of the report (or a part of it) and to take the necessary actions.

CDRator Operations is involved only in case of a Managed Service Agreement with the customer.

Daily Processed CDRs Report

This report provides a daily summary of the CDR files that were received and rated by the system the previous day.

The report consists of the following sections.

Currency

Since wholesale systems may handle service providers of different countries, the report neither displays the currency nor sums of the amounts charged.

Loaded Files

Displays the number of files that were loaded the previous day and their content:

  • Files Loaded - the number of files.
  • Records Loaded - the total number of CDRs within those files.
  • Total Volume (KB) - the sum of the data traffic in kilobytes.
  • Total Volume (GB)- the sum of the data traffic in gigabytes (1 gigabyte = 1,048,576 kilobytes).
  • Total Duration (Sec.) - The sum of the airtime for all types of phone calls, in seconds.
  • Total Duration (Hrs.) - The sum of the airtime for all types of phone calls, in hours (1 hour = 3600 seconds).

Please note that these are the files which were loaded the previous day; it is not granted that all of them went through the rating process.

Records per Service Provider

This table has information about the CDRs that were processed for each service provider.

  • Service Provider - the name of the service provider. Since some CDRs can go into error before the system is able to determine the service provider, there can be one line with n/a as service provider.
  • Total Amount Charged - The sum of the amount charged for the service provider, considering only the CDRs that were successfully rated.
  • Not Rated - number of CDRs in yesterday's files that were not rated.
  • Rated - number of CDRs in yesterday's files that were rated.
  • Discarded - number of CDRs in yesterday's files that were discarded.
  • Error - number of CDRs in yesterday's files that were rated with errors.
  • Duplicate - number of CDRs in yesterday's files that were marked as duplicate, i.e. the same usage was already received.

Rated Streams

The number of record for each stream RATING CODE that were successfully rated. This table gives a detailed overview of the types of usage that were rated yesterday.

  • Stream - the RATING CODE which defines the particular type of usage.
  • Total Records - the number of CDRs for that particular stream.
