Sending multimedia content such as images or documents in an active chat is subject to some validation rules depending on the file size.
CTLive engine has some different default thresholds based on content type. Multimedia content are stored in MongoDB database applying the following rules:
IMAGE type thresholds

DOCUMENT type thresholds
...
A custom integration can use a CTLive REST web service to perform the resize of large images by calling getLiveImage.
